Having trouble finding the Bodhisattva in your life a Christmas Gift?

Look no further!

What we have here is a very suave Robotech toy ( umm…I mean collectable) made by Yamato, a 1/48 scale replica of the awesomeness (yes I said it) that is Milia Fallyna Jenius’s VF-1J Super Valkyrie (which is super because it includes the incrediblly fashionable Yamato Super Parts set - as seen here). Robotech - in more civilized countries called Macross - is of course the single greatest SF cartoon series ever and this is a must have for everyone! Why?
Let’s see. First, it fullfills the all important feminist bent prevalent in SF because this bad boy is piloted by the female ace of a universe-conquering super soliders (the Zentraedi.) Secondly the girl is just raw, after acknowledging that there may be someone equal to her as a pilot (and a puny human at that) she goes deepcover to kill the him, strangely enough in a knife fight (which in this future setting would seem like being hit by a catapult bombardment while walking down mainstreet today ) - but ends up marrying him instead (which is admittedly like the same thing but work with me). For the fellas (aka chauvinists) out there don’t worry, she’s not better than her husband (Max) who is the illest pilot in the universe (but isn’t the star of the series - oh those sneaky Japanese! - and for you geeks out there she plays video games (which she also gets her ass kicked by Max in).
Milia - alien, defector, spy, ace, mass murderer, arcade groupie, traitor, wife, mother, symbol of peace - you know, basically like any typical girl you met in high school (okay, except the arcade groupie part) - but none of them have a cool toy dedicated to them (except for you very strange - and very anti-social - bastards out there).
Secondly, another item that has caught my is this piece:

Comic fans! You know what that is! That’s the damn Infinity Gauntlet!
All comic fans know about the Infinity Gauntlet which spawned one great series and two forgettable Marvel event crossovers (and for all of you who don’t know you need to pick up the the two part Thanos Quest which is he prequel to the Infinity Gauntlet and one of the better Marvel stories of the Modern Age). For those that don’t - to be brief - the gloves bestows its wielder with what is more or less omnipotence.

What we have here is the Bowen statue (modern Version) of Adam Warlock (a.k.a. Him) when he had possession of the gauntlet - and was the supreme being in the universe (no, not Chuck Norris).
Bodhisattva’s also appreciate any original art from Alex Ross (who if you look draws the damn coolest Captain Atom I have ever seen).
There you are folks! Three can’t miss gifts for the Bodhisattva in your life (or a theme oriented excuse for a post, while I try to figure out how to replace Byatt on my Top Ten List, not to mention a reason not to continue reading Winterbirth this minute)
